The topic that I have chosen is helping the homeless. Approximately 634,000 Americans are homeless, and that is outrageous. I think that more can and should be done about this.
Counter arguments:
1. Homeless people are lazy; they should fix their problems themselves
2. Homeless people are all addicts (drugs, alcohol) and won't be able to change
Goals:
1. Keep my voice steadier and loud
2. Make better use of pauses
3. Make eye contact
